"...Razer has launched the Razer Barracuda Integrated Audio System (IAS), which the company claims is the world's first integrated audio system built specifically for gaming. The Barracuda IAS features the Barracuda AC-1 sound card, which is a 7.1-channel 24-bit offering with a claimed SNR rating of 117dB, and Barracuda HP-1 headphones, which sport a noise-canceling microphone, eight independent drivers, and a proprietary Razer HD-DAI interface to connect with the AC-1. Razer claims that the sound card's built-in audio chip "processes and optimizes audio signals from games to provide the ultimate positional gaming audio experience through the Razer 3D (720°) Positional Gaming Audio Engine." However, despite the announcement's bounty of marketing buzzwords and trademarks, Razer doesn't seem to mention a shipping date or a price for the bundle. Gamers looking for the "ultimate realistic gaming experience" will just have to bide their time..." TechReport | Razer Barracuda
