We know that DDR2-800 (800MHz) will become, more or less, the standard this summer/fall as both AMD and Intel will launch platforms sporting DDR2-800. However that is far from as far as DDR2 can go, something OCZ will make very clear at CeBIT. It will reveal its new PC2-8000 Gold XTC DDR2 series (PC8000 = DDR2-1000) that has been designed to work at speeds over 1GHz.
