nein, bei der installation sagt das log gar nix. nur das runterladen wird dokumentiert, aber damit kannst du wohl nix anfangen:

der installer ist ja nur ein file oder? klick mal mit der rechten maustaste drauf und such etwas wie "show package contents". dann sollte das wie ein ordner aufgehen. in der struktur such dann die installer.app und führ die mit doppelklick aus. vielleicht hilft das was. keinen schimmer wieso er die exe öffnen will...

ja der installer.app hat noch paketinhalte, aber wenn ich darin die installer.app öffne kommt das gleiche...

fter the Blizzard Downloader finished I got the following error:

No installer data could be found.

I looked around for a solution and eventually got enough clues that the issue was that I had a case-sensitive drive and Blizzard doesn't support that for the installer or the patching system.

It is relatively easy to get Starcraft II to work on a case-sensitive
volume but takes an extra step to create a case-insensitive volume for
the install disc and then a case insensitive volume for the Starcraft
II to be installed on:

if you have a retail Starcraft II DVD you can skip to part 2 below.

# Creating Case-Insensitive Starcraft II Disc #
- open Disk Utility
- use File -> New -> Black Disc Image
- set the images properties as:
- save as: Starcraft II Install
- name: StarCraft II Disc
- size: 8.3 GB (DVD+R DL)
- format: Max OS Extented
- encryption: none
- partitions: CD/DVD
- image format: sparse bundle disk image
- create
- copy contents of the directory created by the Blizzard Downloader
(SC2-WingsOfLiberty-enUS-Installer) to the created image. (the files
Installer Tome 1.MPQE, Installer UI 1.MPQ, Installer UI 2.MPQE,
Installer.app, and Installer.exe should be on the root of the created
image)
- double click on install.app

Instead of installing on the case sensitive hard drive we should then
follow the steps for creating a case insensitive volume for Starcraft
II to reside. No other volume or reformat necessary!

# Creating Case-Insensitive Image For Starcraft II To Reside In #
- open Disk Utility
- use File -> New -> Black Disc Image
- set the images properties as:
- save as: Starcraft II
- name: StarCraft II
- size: 15 GB
- format: Max OS Extented
- encryption: none
- partitions: Single partition - Apple Partition Map
- image format: sparse bundle disk image
- create
- tell the Starcraft II installer to install on this new image
- Run Starcraft, have fun

Note - it is necessary after a reboot to remount the Starcraft II
image. Just double click on the created image and then run Starcraft
II normally.

weiters gefunden: hast du den downloader mit dem standard macosx aus dem zip entpackt oder mit 3rd party tools? anscheinend gibt es da probleme.

edit: also probleme mit 3rd party entpackern.

das war scheinbar schonmal ein schritt in die richtige richtung... jetzt haben wir die nächste fehlermeldung

"Bitte legen Sie die CD mit der Aufschriftt "Starcraft II Disc" ein.

habs genau nach deiner anleitung gemacht. Wenn ich nur "die Starcraft II disc" mounte, mounted/unmounted er jedesmal wieder (im finder wird neben der "StarCraft II Disc" immer wieder das "auswerfen symbol gezeigt und verschwindet gleich wieder).

Wenn ich beide Images mounte wird das "Starcraft II" image automatisch ausgeworfen.

edit: zum entpacken: wurde automatisch vom system gemacht.

so... zusammenfassung:

danke d3cod3, der trick mit den images hat nach ein paar versuchen funktioniert.

Möglichwerweise hab ich auch die Ursache gefunden und zwar habe ich HFS+ mit Groß/Kleinschreibung formatiert und möglicherweise kann der Blizzard installer damit nix anfangen. Bei der Installation hat er sich beschwert, dass SC2 nicht auf so ein Volumen installiert werden kann, aber mit dem sparsebundle aus der beschreibung hat es funktioniert.

np, falls wieder mal mac probleme auftreten...

us.battle.net/sc2 hat mac foren. auf eu.battle.net gibts keine. weiss zwar nicht warum aber immerhin bekommt man dort mehr hilfe
