Review @ HardwareCentralThe Wireless Optical Desktop is an attractive and comfortable combination, but our test pair's software-driver and skipping-mouse issues left us less impressed than we thought we'd be. If you can afford $105 instead of $85, we'd suggest checking out either of two other desk sets in Microsoft's confusingly named lineup: the Wireless Optical Desktop Pro, which has the company's "Natural" split or ergonomic keyboard layout, or the Wireless Optical Desktop Elite, which adds a second Tilt Wheel on the left edge of an unsplit keyboard. Both include the upscale, five-button Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer.
