das OS ist glaub ich weniger das problem, der play store fällt halt weg, wobei man den über umwege sicher auch drauf bekommt.

und SoCs gibts auch massig von anderen herstellern.
in dem fall entgehen google und qualcomm halt am ende die lizenz und hardware verkäufe.

unter chinaphone verstand man idr. damals genau das was du verstehst, "billigramsch".
das ist aber längst nicht mehr so, inzwischen haben sich schon einige chinesische marken etabliert die nur wenig mit billigramsch zu tun haben, huawei, ZTE, xiaomi...

"chinaphone" ist also längst nicht mehr der ausdruck der es mal war

oneplus wurde hier ja auch hochgelobt, ist aber nach der definition auch nix anderes als ein chinaphone.

Übel für ZTE, noch schlimmer ist aber, das es wohl auch andere Hersteller betreffen wird (die von ZTE fertigen lassen).

Wäre mal interessant zu wissen für welche Marken ZTE so fertigt.

ZTE hat nach eigenen Angaben in die Einhaltung von Exportkontrollen investiert und Mitarbeiter entsprechend geschult

Peking – Der chinesische Handy- und Netzwerkbauer ZTE sucht mit Zugeständnissen nach einer Lösung für das als existenzbedrohend eingestufte US-Lieferverbot. Das Unternehmen habe aus seinen Erfahrungen mit Exportkontrollen gelernt, teilte ZTE in einer Stellungnahme an die Börse in Hongkong mit. Unter Führung des Vorstandschefs sei ein Compliance-Ausschuss eingerichtet worden. Zudem habe ZTE in die Einhaltung von Exportkontrollen investiert und Mitarbeiter entsprechend geschult. Das US-Handelsministerium teilte mit, einen Antrag der Chinesen bewilligt zu haben, weitere Nachweise vorzulegen.
