Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI
The FP-IN9 SLI mainboard is part of the Abit's Fatal1ty line; slick design and high performance are some of the key elements which distinguish this product line-up from their normal gear. A very good looking box holds an even better looking Abit mainboard. The red and black tints create a nice color combination which is applied on every detail this board is being equipped with. You will love the way this board is designed! To decrease overall system noise this board is complete fanless, though it's advised to add some extra airflow over the MCP once you start to overclocking for maximum stability.

Based on the 650i SLI chipset from NVIDIA, Abit didn't forget about pleasing the enthusiast with enough calculating power. Overall, The Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLI offers good performance which is very on par with Intel P965 based boards, and that without adding extra power consumption. The onboard HD Audio and Gigabit LAN allow the user to save some money on hardware which is necessarily anyway, during our testing period we couldn't notice anything wrong with those 2 features. Connectivity isn't abundant but with 4 SATA ports, 2 IDE ports, 1x floppy and up to 8 USB 2.0 devices it is far from bad either, in fact we think that it provides just enough connectivity to charm the average pc enthusiast.

Extra performance features like EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles), SLI (Scale Link Interface) and NVIDIA's FirstPacket technology makes this board even more attractive considering its price, and with tons of available BIOS options most overclocking minded gamers will certainly find their part of the fun to.
