ich schau schon seit längerem nicht mehr mit...

ich hasse diese gestaffelten kinostarts wie die pest.
bin nämlich leider der typ, der sich einen lang ersehnten film dann als letztklassige (handy)cam anschaut, weil ers nicht mehr erwarten kann.

Ausserdem zuviel jeden Trailer sehen is auch blöd da man dann "zuviel" gesehen hat. Macht irgendwie die Vorfreude kaputt.

Heute auf französisch gesehen! Zwar nicht alles verstanden aber Bilder sagen eh mehr als 1000 Worte!

Werd ihn mir sicher noch einmal auf englisch anschauen.

Wir sind schuld das es überhaupt Aliens gibt bzw. stammen die Aliens sogar von uns mehr oder weniger ab!!! :O

naja wirklich viel verräts noch nicht übern film und bis August hast es wieder vergessen! :P

ein paar Leute haben ihn schon gesehen und die NDA ist anscheinend abelaufen, bzw. sind gerade weitere Vorstellungen also werden die kommenden Tage sicher mehr Reviews/Meinungen auftauchen... ich zitiere da einfach mal direkt jemanden der ihn schon gesehen hat (Rudi Herbert aus dem RED-Forum) - zur Sicherheit lieber mit SPOILER;

Officially, my NDA has expired, so yes, I have seen Prometheus. I won't predict a global phenomenon like I did with Avatar, but this thing will knock the socks off of any serious film enthusiast. I won't talk about the plot, except to say that is, thanks god, adult and complex, without allowances in stupidity for the 18-25 male crowd. Then, given the original premise upon which the film got off the ground, some great ideas and themes have been lost or toned down, and it is not as provocative as it is terrifying, but still, stimulating and enjoyable. In terms of image quality, I will say that I think it is the best looking RED material I have ever seen, downright amazing visually. This will be the best calling card for Epic until the Great Gatsby comes out. Typical of Riddley, beautiful dark and bright areas alternating constantly through the frame, and the Epic's wonderful "subtle super saturation" that is the camera's best attribute in my opinion. Amazing visuals, great cinematography and beautiful colors. And yes, you'll get to know where the space jockey came from.

Friends, being a lucky french citizen, I was able to see Prometheus for its first showing earlier today. I'll try to sum up my thoughts here: this movie is, in various ways, flawed. A few visual aspects of are mediocre at best (some prosthetics, make-up, even a few CGI shots), and the scripts contains some issues of its own.
Now that this is out of the way, there is one thing you have to know: those few flaws are literraly NOTHING compared to the overall quality of the movie. The photography is off the charts. Michael Fassbender is downright incredible. Theron and Rapace get their chances to shine, too.
And the music. Oh God the music. A beautifully written score, totally unexpected for this kind of movies in this day and age. Definitely helps bringing the movie to a whole new level.
Now, the horror and gruesomeness: not as brutal as I expected visually. But ****, when Scott was talking about "philosophical horror", he was not kidding. This goes beyond not only what I was expecting, but also what most fans have been debating in the past few months.
Concerning the Alien mythos: I don't know what I can say without spoiling stuff, but the implications are pretty huge. We're probably looking at the birth of a new franchise here; and if so, I'll be dying to see what comes next.
Oh, before I send this, there's another thing that bugged me though. The movie does a great job pleasing the Alien fans, but might seem a bit hard to approach for a more mainstream audience. But, well... worked for me :-)
