also was ich wissen will ist folgendes:

Ist es bei aktuellen akkus (Lithium Ionen) noch immer so dass sich die akkuleistung drastisch vermindert wenn man den akku im notebook lässt wenn er am netz betrieben wird?

sollte nimma so schlimm sein, allerdings ist es trotzdem empfehlenswert, den akku währendm netzbetrieb rauszunehmen, wenn du mit deinem laptop längere zeit eine freude haben willst :)

wenn er ohne akku funktioniert schadets sicher nicht

im c't war mal ein artikel zur richtigen behandlung von li-ion-akkus, da stand auch was von wegen nicht vollgeladen lagern, sondern ~halb.
