Review @ VR-Zone HardwareWhen factored in with the aggressive pricing ($200) of the new 110 nanometer and 12 pixel pipeline Radeon X800, the Sapphire Radeon X700 Pro Toxic Edition is in a very difficult position within the mainstream market. Although the 12 pixel pipeline X800 is hard to find at the moment, eventually it should come to market in mass numbers and offer a better price / performance ratio than the X700 Pro.
Also playing a factor is the fact that the Sapphire Radeon X700 Pro Toxic Edition only features 128MB of GDDR3 memory, as opposed to the 256MB we typical see with retail versions of the X700 Pro. This is of course to save money and offset the costs of the Lethal Cooling that is used to overclock the card through Automated Performance Enhancer (APE) and Sapphire's Redline Tweak Utility. Sapphire's own tweaking software, APE, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, Prince of Persia, and an included cold cathode are great additions to a quality graphics card, but the problem we have here is that the Radeon X700 Pro GPU is only second rate when compared to the GeForce 6600GT.

nette karte!
