Gibt es eigentlich auch noch eine andere Möglichkeit als
Code:
DATE_ADD(datecol, INTERVAL timecol HOUR_SECOND)
um einen DATE Eintrag mit einem TIME Eintrag zu einem DATETIME Eintrag zu kombinieren? DATE_ADD mit INTERVAL etc. wirkt so kompliziert für eine eher einfach wirkende Operation.

Mit SQL Server 2008 gibt es einen neuen Date-Datentyp (glaub Datetime2) ... vielleicht hilft dir das ja weiter, auch wenn's sehr Technologie-spezifisch ist.

das sollte auch funktionieren:

ist aber im Endeffekt das selbe.
