Review @ TheTechLounge | GeizhalsNow I did let on that the SG03 case has a weakness. It's that it's expensive. $150 is cheap, maybe, for SilverStone, but you add an extra $60 for an (equally good) NT06 heatsink and $90 for their ST50EF-PLUS-SC PSU (or other modular power supply), and you've got a $250 kit before any actual computer parts get tallied.
The counterpoint is that you were going to spend an equal amount for those parts anyway (and you can always use a stock heatsink), so having the options defined in advance only makes things easier. But, still, it's not small change. However, compared to a Shuttle kit it's a bargain , and maybe a little... nicer? Better?
Even with the cost in mind, the SG03 an excellent chassis, and well worth saving for.
Micro-ATX parts are not all the discount, low-binned, inferior parts they used to be. They're in the same class as other mainstream and premium motherboards, only smaller. It's great to finally have a chassis to match. The SG03 is everything that the Temjin series is, in both style and quality, but in a form factor tailored to your literal desktop.
