maxx: gerade charaktere wie duke (und mario auch btw) haben extrem viel charakter, der protagonist macht dieses spiel aus, das ist kein vergleich zu doom (was trägt da bitte der protagonist bei?) oder gar quake, wo du nur mit irgendeinem hässlichen viech herumrennst und andere hässliche viecher abknallst. Außerdem fand ich duke wirklich NIE gore-mäßig, absolut nicht. Das war einfach nur witzig. Allein die sache, dass dich türen zerquetschen konnten...wie oft haben wir uns totgelacht als sowas passiert ist und dann die sauce vom dahingerafften zwischen der tür klebte. Der duke ist einfach sowas wie eine mischung aus super-arnie und rambo-stallone, der optimale ballerspiel-protagonist einfach. Das mit doom oder quake zu vergleichen ist ja schon eine frechheit quasi .

irgendwie gibt es von dieser art von spielen viel zu wenig.

die "aktuellen" vertreter dieser gattung die mir einfallen würden sind Crimson Skies und Yager.... gabs irgendwelche anderen? ich liebe solche games

Last Saturday we had our annual company Christmas party. It was a lot of fun as usual but it featured one special surprise. It turns out that several people had been secretly working late nights and into the wee hours of the morning preparing a special video for those at the party. They created a short teaser for Duke Nukem Forever.
