Windows 7 Home Premium OA - Key

Hallo!

Ich habe vor kurzem ein Notebook erworben, auf dessen Rückseite sich ein Windows 7 Key befindet, wörtlich heißt die Version "Windows 7 Home Prem OA". Nach ein bisschen Googeln kam ich zu folgendem Ergebnis:

1. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Activation is also known as OA. It basically is OEM basic input/output system (BIOS) activation -- meaning they've activated it already and you don't need to enter the key and activate yourself.

It will only allow for one installed copy with it to be activated. If you try to do it on both 32/64 bit versions, you will probably get the Your Product Key is already in use or The Windows 7 product key you typed is invalid for activation message.

Was heißt das jetzt konkret? Dadurch, dass es sich bei mir um eine 64bit CPU handelt auf alle Fälle mal, dass der Key nicht mit für 32bit Versionen verfügbar ist. Aber lässt sich der Key nochmals aktivieren? (WIndows 7 war ja bereits vorinstalliert, ich hab's allerdings sofort deinstalliert weil ich lieber mit Ubuntu unterwegs bin).

Und wenn er sich noch einmal aktivieren lässt, darf man solche OA-Keys dann eigentlich zum Verkauf anbieten?

Ja, das war mir eh klar. Ich finde den englischen Text nur ein wenig missverständlich ausgedrückt - d.h. also, der Key ist durchaus nochmal zu verwenden?

so lang das originalmedium dabei ist, is es 100%ig legal. Wenn es nur eine recovery partition gibt dann diese auf DVD brennen
