Hey!!

Hab eine externe Festplatte (USB 2.0) und will diese in 4 Partitionen teilen und auf NTFS formatieren.

Wird diese externe Festplatte dann auch unter Win Me ohne Probleme erkannt???

afaik ist me auf 98 basis programmiert, und 98 kann afaik kein ntfs, oder vertue ich mich jetzt da?

afair kann nur win2k/xp/2k3/nt ntfs

stimmt, NTFS is schliesslich mit win nt gekommen -> mit 2k/xp kannst damit arbeiten. uU gibts auch auf der MS-homepage einen patch für 98 um mit NTFS arbeiten u können

ME bringt auch die nötigen Treiber für USB-Platten nicht mit (zumindest auf den beiden Systemen wo ichs gebraucht hab) und fordert irgendeine dll oder was nach - war bei mir auf der ME-CD drauf und das usb-teil sollte ja auch eine CD dabei haben und war dann nach gar kein Problem mehr...

und inwieweit ein "NTFS for 9x/ME" von dritter Seite (siehe oben) sinnvoll/funktionierend ist weiß ich auch nicht - hatte sowas mal auf 98 probiert und es ging nicht...
