also hab auf meinem notebook (Vaio FX403) nun SuSE 7.2 aufgesetzt (schon zum zweiten mal - beim ersten mal hatte ich diese problem nicht). am anfang werde ich nach treibern für den PCMCIA device gefragt - hab ich natürlich nicht also auf abbrechen drücken - dann fertig installieren. is alles sauber über die bühne gegangen! dann root pw vergeben und yast startet sich um noch ein paar skripten abzuarbeiten - nun steht da auch "start PCMCIA using SuSE schema" -> und aus - nix geht mehr.

meine frage und bitte is nun - wer weiß abhilfe und wenn nicht wie lautet der kernel-parameter um gleich am anfang den PCMCIA device zu deaktivieren?

suse hat auch eine support db, guck mal rein. ansonsten würde ich noch google befragen.
