Mosel Vitelic 5ns Chips???

Hallo!

Auf den Corsair XMS PC 3200 C2 Rev. 5.1 bzw. Rev 5.2 dürfte der Mosel Vitelic 5ns Chip drauf sein oder?

Ich nehme mal an der Chip ist schrott und packt keine 241MHz bei 3,3V?

Ja, es sind Mosel Vitelic 5ns drauf.

mein problem is das ich an corsair XMS PC3200 C2 1GB Kit habe, nur mit Rev. 1.2. Da sind Winbond CH-6 Chips drauf.

Ist es besser mit den "gleichen" RAMs, jedoch mit den Mosel Chips auf 2GB zu erweitern, oder soll ich ma irgend an anderen RAM besorgen der auch CH-6 drauf hat?

kommt drauf an, ob du noch ch-6 rams besorgen kannst.

willst du da noch etwas übertakten?. wenn du die rams mischst werden beim ocen entweder die mosel oder die ch-6 zuerst limiteren.

ich persönlich hab bei gemischten "ram-sorten" schlechtere ergebnisse als mit gleichen gemacht.

btw. meine schwester hat exakt dieselben alten corsairs, die du da hast.

habs sie mal getestet: (alles super pi 32m stable)

2.9V.....220@2,5-3-3-8 1T
3.1V.....230@2,5-3-3-8 1T
3.5V.....250@2,5-3-3-8 1T

natürlich hab ich sie geoced (siehe sig)

241MHz @ 2-2-2-6-1T mit 3,3V und aktiv gekühlt.

so kacken sie mir leider bei memtest bei ca. 210% ab. weis nicht ob ich noch 3,4V geben soll. ist für 24/7 schon a bissl viel, oder was sagst du?

deine schwester gibt sie nicht zufällig her?

nicht schlecht. 2-2-2 schaffen ihre corsair nicht.
könntest ja mal die timings etwas lockern, vielleicht sind sie dann bei deinem takt etwas stabiler.

ich glaub aber kaum, dass dir ihre ram helfen würden, ist noch ein 2x256mb kit.

hast mal kurz getestet, ob sie mit 3.4V bei 241 überhaupt stabil sind?

ich kühl meine ram immer mit einem 80er lüfter.

ja kühl meine auch mit einem 80er. der läuft allerding nur bei ca. 50%, will ihn nicht mehr aufdrehen da er sunst hörbar wird und das soll er nicht.

hm, also heiß wird er sicher nicht, warm aber schon.

testen kann ich erst am we.

zuvor hab ich nicht gekühlt, da ist der RAM mit 3.1V noch gut gegangen, bei 3.2V nicht mehr. Das heist, wenn mein RAM jetzt bei 3.4V wieder schlechter gehen würde als bei 3.3V -> er ist zu heiß
werd ich am we probieren
