Arbeitsspeicher für Ryzen 9700x - ASUS TUF Gaming B850M-Plus WIFI?

Hi!
I hope it is OK to ask in English. Feel free to answer in German, I can usually read well enough

I have finally ordered a new motherboard (ASUS TUF Gaming B850M-Plus WIFI) for upgrading my ancient Intel X99 platform to AM5.
This obviously needs more components and I think I will go for a 9700X cpu, or possibly a 9600X.
Since I am new to the AM5 platform and haven't build an AMD setup since the days of Socket 939, I would like to ask for a bit of advice on selection of RAM. I will probably not do any significant overclocking, because the cooling in my mATX chassis has to work hard enough as it is, but I would still like the RAM to offer decent performance.

I would like to get a kit with two modules and probably 48 or 64 GB in total, to have enough now but still have space for more RAM in a few years if necessary.
The hard part is then to choose speed and latency, how much does it really matter on this platform?
And then, how important is it to pick a kit from the Qualified Vendors List?

I have looked a bit at pangoly.com, but it is still very hard to know which parameters actually matter for real-world performance.

Well, I have been in the habit of occasionally running a VM for testing purposes, and sometimes more RAM heavy games (i.e. three clients of EVE online + excel, web browser, etc.).
My current setup is running 40 GB (2x16 + 2x4), and it feels wrong to go for less on a new platform, so 2x24 feels like minimum for me.

The Kingston ones look nice, but there are still considerably cheaper ones at DDR5-6000, although with worse timings. Does CL30 make that much of a difference, compared to say CL36 ones like these?

Your linked don’t have EXPO, they can/could run with AMD, but it is easier to take them (as blood posted) with EXPO

I can not prove it but the difference would be 1-2-3% in gaming and maybe 3-4-5% for rendering or editing video… but this is just what I guess, so it must be not true

Great, just the kind of details I was hoping for! I only wish TechPowerUp had done some benchmarks with same speed, different timings. The videos clarified some of that though

Going for DDR5-6000 AMD EXPO seems like a no-brainer, and also timings on the lower side.
I'll probably keep an eye out to see if I can catch a good kit with CL30, otherwise get some CL36.
