For today we have some good and bad news. As for the good news, we are proud to announce Team Fortress 2, the long-awaited sequel to Team Fortress Classic, is approaching GOLD status and will be available from 3rd quarter of THIS year. A lot of work has been done to provide you one of the most anticipated online games ever. Currently we´re busy with polishing some artwork and the fine tuning of gamebalance.

Our tight schedule enforces us to shutdown ONE deployed Steam game, which is the bad news. Currently we are still deciding which of the older Classics will be taken out of service from Steam.

(HL1)

This final step has to be taken, to conserve bandwidth for a smooth Team Fortress 2 rollout. We know this final step has to be taken with close contact to the gaming-community. For that reason we ask the major community sites to collect survey data in the local gaming-communities about which game will go.
