Raven Shield 1.60 Server + Instructions (how To Play)

For all Rainbow Six: Raven Shield fans there is the server for on-line playing using the HAMACHI networking solution. Here are the FAQ and answers:

• 1. What do I need in order to play Raven Shield on this server?
  - Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield game
  - Patch from version 1.00 to 1.60 (WARNING: there are different patches, US, UK, DE etc, try HERE )
  - "Mini Image", this file replaces your original Play-CD if you lost/damaged it (find it on gamecopyworld.com)
  - Hamachi application

• 2. How to install it?
  - Install Hamachi application first and let it go through your firewall
  - Install the game (fresh install recommended)
  - Patch the game from version 1.00 to version 1.60
  - Mount the "Mini-Image" (using Daemon Tools or Alcohol120%)
  - Disable all traffic to 216.98.52.30, for more info CLICK HERE!

• 3. How to join the game?
  - Start Hamachi and join the HGI - Rainbow Six RV network (Network Name: HGI - Rainbow Six RV, Network Password: hamachi-games, or simply use this config file)
  - Start the game
  - Choose "MULTIPLAYER" option
  - The server should be visible under the "LAN SERVER" tab

• 4. Anything else I should know?
  - The server will be online (almost) every day, from 10-24 hours GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)
  - The server is dedicated, @4096/512 kbit/s
  - The off-line days will be properly announced (see the status on the top of this thread)
  - Once again: use the proper version (1.60) and patch it properly (US version with US patch, etc.)
