ET:Quake Wars @ Quakecon 2006

AMDZone war auf der Quakecon2006 live vor Ort, als Enemy Territory: Quake Wars vorgestellt wurde. Der Artikel glänzt zwar nicht mit atemberaubenden Bildern, beinhaltet dafür aber umso mehr zum Gameplay des Spiels. Hier ein kleiner Ausschnitt:

"...The demo was impressive, and included 8 live players. Several classes including Spec Ops, and medic were shown off. Each has special abilities, and gamers will be glad to know that hitting the F key is all you need to do when you are in an area that requires that ability. No fumbling for the right key will be necessary. To further speed up play, and intensify battles Splash Damage has implemented action points on the maps that are clearly marked with arrows. It is at these points that they wish to focus the game play on so that instead of a lot of time spent traveling the battle field looking for players to attack you can spend more time in more intense battles. Battles range from out door shooting, to in door close quarters play, and even large dog fights or artillery battle..."

Dieses, auf der Doom3 basierenden Engine, Spiel wird für das erste Quartal 2007 erwartet und soll bei der Community einen etwas besseren Eindruck hinterlassen als Quake4. Enemy-Territory: Quake Wars ist eine "Weiterentwicklung" des kostenlosen Spieles Enemy-Territory.

Hab mir schon einige (ärgstens sicke ) Enemy-Territory Matches gegeben... so geil wenn Tosspott abgeht bei manchen Szenen :]

Q4 wird auch gecovert... imho is der Stream sehr brauchbar

momentan ist der stream ******e, funktioniert nicht, hat aussetzer oder bricht völlig ab. eigentlich schade, dachte itg könnten es besser machen als tsn.
