Microsoft has announced a remastered version of Halo: Combat Evolved. It will contain co-op, remastered looks. Seven of the most popular multiplayer maps and more.

The long rumored remastering of the first Halo has been updated for Xbox Live, with the aforementioned goodies.

It’s out on November 15.

The game will be an Xbox exclusive. No more details were given.

Car interiors were also shown, and they looked every bit as good; they need to, because when playing with a Kinect you'll have the option to enable head tracking and look around from your position in the driver's seat. Kinect voice support was also confirmed during the showing, but it's not yet clear how it will be used.

Crytek’s announced the title formerly known as Codename Kingdoms is now Ryse, a first person hack-and-slash using Kinect.

The game is entirely gesture-controlled, including kicking and stabbing, as well as shield-blocking.

The trailer showed a dog approaching dead bodies across the streets of Rome, as well as plenty of wreckage across the city.

A demo showed the on stage player swinging his arms around like he was using the lightsaber, after he said “lightsaber on” to make it so, and it then he was shown lifting his hands in the air as if he was using the force to lift or push things. He used “the force” to lift and move an airship around.

There’s no date for this yet, but we’re hoping for a bit more on this out of E3 this week.

Kinect support was shown via a gunsmith mode, where you could customise all the weapons you have depending on the missions and objectives you have. Not just supressors or scopes, but every single piece of the gun is customised.

You can also try the guns on a firing range using Kinect.

EA and Insomniac Games Reveal New Four-Player Co-Op Action Game Overstrike 9, which is comprised of an ex-mercenary, a thief, a scientist and a detective.

Overstrike 9 are considered “outcasts” but are thought to be the best available when a terrorist group tries to destroy humankind.

Far Cry 3 is in development, and will launch next year, Ubisoft has announced this evening.

FC3′s been made at Ubisoft Montreal, with help coming from Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Massive.

The game sees you as Jason Brody, a man stranded on a tropical island. You’ll be able to choose how the story plays out for you, as you decide to fight to your allies or enemies.

“Far Cry 3 brings something new and unexpected, while still building upon the foundations of excellence that are inherent to the Far Cry brand,” said producer Dan Hay.

“Whether you’re already a fan of the Far Cry series or jumping into the franchise for the very first time, you’re going to be blown away by the gritty story and epic adventure we’re going to deliver.”

Far Cry launches in 2012 for PS3, 360 and PC.

Furious 4 is the latest latest iteration of the Brothers in Arms franchise, which promises to “spin the series in a new direction.”

Set in World War II, Brothers in Arms Furious 4 is a first-person shooter will a full campaign mode playable with up to four players in co-op, as well as in competitive multiplayer mode.

The story follows four “fierce and furious” men tracking the Führer, and as one of the Furious 4, players will use special weaponry and combat abilities to fight an experimental Nazi army conceived in secret by the Third Reich.
