Zitat
In conclusion I must say TherMagic beat Arctic Silver 3 at load by 1 degree in most testing. Cleanup with TherMagic is much easier than with Arctic Silver 3 however there was the fact that the thermal compound ran itself off the cpu. Over time I'm sure my temperatures would've increased as the cooler and cpu core made direct contact. I feel that TherMagic is a very good product however at this time I don't feel it has made Arctic Silver obsolete by any means. The idle temps of TherMagic are not quite as good as Arctic Silver 3, however the load temps proved to be lower in the testing results shown here. Lower load temps are more important that lower idle temps in my opinion. Clean up with TherMagic is easier than Arctic Silver 3, with a dose of Isopropyl Alcohol doing a great job. The cost for a 2.5 gram tube is only $6.99 making TherMagic very affordable. We hope to see an evolution with this product in the future and look forward to the next generation of thermal compound by Evergreen.
