I imagine Saitek heard a lot of complaints from users that the back light was either too bright, or not bright enough as everyone has a different light sensitivity. I also imagine they got requests for different light colors as people wanting to match their mods found swapping the LED's out a daunting task. Saitek has resolved both of these issues on the Eclipse by way of a brightness knob, and the ability to select one of three colors via a push button.

What's new or better:
  • A sexy new two-toned look that is more refined.
  • Brightness control knob.
  • Three user selectable colors.
  • Improved 3 position wrist rest.
  • Improved 3 position tilt.
What's still the same:
  • World class solid as a rock build quality.
  • Large, very grippy feet.
  • Easy to read in any light with laser etched keys.
  • Responsive, quiet, solid key strokes.
  • Plug 'n' play--no drivers required.
  • Reeks of quality and superior design.
Available at Crazy PC for $59 bucks (just $10 more than the original Eclipse). You simply can't go wrong with the Saitek Eclipse II, and I am happy to bestow our Worship Worthy Award and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking for a quality, lighted, gaming class keyboard.

ja ich hab eine Eclipse 1 und der Druckpunkt dieser Tasta is genial, die Durscheinenden Tasten überzeugen ebenfalls!
Jetzt hoffentlich noch besser ^^
