Review @ ExtremeTech For fans of the MX series who currently own an MX510, if you're interested in cutting the cord, this is a great mouse for you but it'll cost a few more clams. And if you own an MX700, consider upgrading to the MX1000 if you've ever noticed a stall of your mouse pointer as you roll over a non-standard surface. The MX1000 is also a great mouse for travelers who don't mind the extra size and weight. Why you ask? Be-cause you can pull it out and mouse on just about any surface. That's a huge benefit when you're on the road.User-Review
Does the average person need to spend $79.95 on this mouse? No. It's a high-end mouse for PC users who demand top-of-the-line performance. Lots of standard business users will be completely satisfied saving $20 and going with Microsoft's Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer.
