Das Xoom soll ja 800 USD kosten - mit Datenpaket bei Verizon. Und WLAN gibt es vorerst nur, wenn man mindestens ein Monat eine 3G-Datenverbindung bezieht.

Diese Einschränkung gibts momentan aber nur bei Kauf via Bestbuy, da steht noch nichts, das es "immer" Pflicht sein wird

Es stehen aber auch keine Europapreise und glaubst du, dass es ohne Vertrag billiger ist als die 800 USD bei Best Buy? Ich nicht.

Es geht darum, dass es nicht bedeutet, nur weil Bestbuy die Aktivierung verlangt, dass es bei jedem Anbieter so sein wird.

Bin gespannt was sich bis Mai noch tut, da könnte mir ein Kollege ein paar Sachen aus den USA mitnehmen, ein Tablet würde sich da anbieten.

Ich hasse es wenn andere Leute recht behalten.

600 USD für WiFi-only, 800 USD für WiFi + 3G (später 4G). Da wirds dann wohl noch weitere Preisunterschiede geben.

also das anandtech review finde ich viel besser als das engadget review. engadget beschreibt zwar ganz gut das generelle gefühl aber liefert 0 daten. und die browserdaten sprechen doch bitte wirklich für sich:

800$ = 400€ ?! no way dude, wären ca. 580€ und das wenn man wirklich 1:1 umrechnet, das kannst du auch ziemlich sicher ausschließen.

die kostet afaik 500$ - also sollte sich 400€ schon ausgehen.

3/4g brauch ich persönlich bei einem tablet eh nicht.
