oha... ob das etwas mit dem "insider trade" bei dem manche AMD Verantwortliche beschuldigt sind zusammenhängt. Wenns ein geplanter Abgang gewesen wäre, wäre wohl schon eine permanente Lösung ante portas (muss natürlich nicht so sein)?

Nein er ist vom board "zurück getreten worden".

Die gerüchte die derzeit die runde machen, sin das meyer nicht die selbe richtung gehen wollte wie das board und deshalb gehen musste.

Jo das ist auch derzeit im umlauf, was auch derzeit gemunkelt wird, ist das amd so wie arm wird -> nix wird mehr selber produziert soderen nur mehr lizensiert (Nur dürfte sich das ein problem mit x86 ergeben... . Den ersten schritt habens ja schon gemacht (fabless) oder es wird geschaut das der focus weg vom traditionellen pc markt hin zum tablet/mobile markt ausgerichtet wird.

Auch hier dürfte meyer nicht wirklich von sowas begeistert sein.
