find das einfach nur unnötig! wieso gibts keinen sockel der lang hält? (so wie der s478 damals?!)
naja, dann wird halt nächstes jahr wieder aufgerüstet

soviel zu 939 = "zukunftssicher"
aber egal, so wird uns wenigstens nicht fad.

939 = high end
754 = low end
jetzt sollen alle desktop CPUs auf s940 (gehn da drauf dann jetzige opterons?

genannt "M2" <- was war M1? ...
und die Server cpus auf sockel "F" <- logisch, nach A, 754, 939 und 940 kommt bekanntlich F im alphabet...
AUSSER die 100er opterons, die im 940er bleiben und die verwirrung komplett machen oder vielleicht sinds auch nur 940 pins, aber sockelformat anders als die aktuellen s940?
