wobei man aber auch erwähnen muss, dass die qualität der boards auch gestiegen ist - mein p4p800-e del musste öfters zur rma, mein dq6 noch nie, zudem ist der hersteller offenbar von seinem produkt derart überzeugt, dass er sogar sechs jahre garantie darauf gibt.

1. The chipsets will not be released at the same time.
2. This is a speed bin updated to X38, more like X38+, the Racer X version of Speed Racer is a good way to describe it. At one time, X48 was the designation for the upcoming EagleLake chipset, trying to find out if they flipped the chipset designations or not on this program.
3. The first boards out with it will be the R.O.G. series from ASUS and probably an update to the Intel BadAxe 3 (the name is still up in the air). Gigabyte and Foxconn (MARS series) are looking at doing a board also.
4. Release dates vary at this time, I have heard anywhere from November to a January time frame. It is very fluid right now, just like the whole X38 launch.

tja, mich wunderts, dass sie noch auf ddr2 setzten dachte eigentlich mit x38 kommt "nur" mehr ddr3 support aber das wäre ja so wie dx10 und "nur" vista
naja ddr2 support hängt vom boardhersteller ab, intel selbst hat ja gesagt, dass der x38 auf ddr3 optimiert ist.

aber scho wieder nur ddr2...
wo bleibt das maximus extreme mit ddr3 support.

ein gebinnter x38 heißt sicher nicht x48... eaglelake ist die 4er serie (2Q 08)... aber bitte wir werden in 2 wochen sehn.
