ist einfach die weiterentwicklung - bzw performanteres nachfolgechipset

aso hab ich nicht bedacht denn ich war der überzeugung das 7505 hätte auch schon 333mhz

So nebenbei gibts eingentlich Referenzboards von anderen Herstellern im Worstationbereich?
mich würden die Unterschiede interessiern...

Bla, hab grad das Handbuch überflogen, und ich muss sagen, beeindruckt bin ich nicht besonders. :rolleyes: Wo da die "AI" OC-Funktionen sein sollen, ist mir nicht ganz klar. Die Leute bei ASUS scheinen ihre Produkte selber nicht sehr gut zu kennen. Außer FSB-Einstellungen von 100-165MHz, Multiplikator, und Speicherlatenzen deutet nix auf OC hin.

Mal ganz abgesehen davon, dass 99% ein neues NT dafür brauchen. Oder wer hat ein 24Pin + 8Pin (12V) NT zu Hause? Selbst wenn das Board günstig ist, kannst nochmal 100 - 150€ für ein passendes NT rechnen. Und DAS find ich echt beknackt! :bash:

Nur 165 MHz?? Was für eine *******e, weiß zufällig jemand, was für ein PLL auf dem Brett sitzt, evtl. lässt sich ja noch was mit CPUCool oder SetFSB machen. Für nen Turbo PLL Mod ist mir das Board doch zu teuer und die Chancen zu groß es dabei zu fraggen...

this mother board is a dream coming true...

in the past I allways wanted a cheap dual system I needed it only for software like 3d max and photoshop and movie editing
I only wanted the dual processing added to my normal pc at good price
it never came true until now

this motherboard is not a server board it is a workstation board u dont need SCSI (sata is enough) u dont need PCI-X for storage so why force me to pay for them if I need only dual processing???

the cheapest dual PC is around 3500 euro now u can get a dual for around 1500 euro ONLY!!!!

now this one came for 279 euro only and the xeon 2.4 is around 250 euro vs p4 189 euro

which is nothing

keep n mind that u can also use dual processing to run two applications at the same time without any skippy performance imagine listening to music or playing a game while rendering a movie or a 3d..

also, the system works on one processor and the other take care of programs incase of one program working etc

keep in mind the Xeon is HT too so u ll have 4 processors here 2 physical and 2 logical I mean waw

I am going for this one for sure
and hey this works in single processor too
so if u dont have the money and want a pc get it in future add a second xeon (same speed)

keep in mind it is the first ubertakt mobo for xeon too and that it is cooooooooooooooooooool

why buying a normal P4 with i875 if u can get Xeon for 100euro only more and when u need speed add another processor?

I think every pc now should be duali why not? try dual processing and it will change the way u look at pc forever...

there is another board with same specs from tyan but e7505 it is Tyan Tiger i7505 S2668ANR this one has normal PCI ang AGP pro and sata and everything the cool thing about it that it accepts NORMAL ATX power supply (no need for expensive 24 PSU)
this mobo is for 379 euro at alternate.de

check tyan site for info

but I prefer the ASUS cos it is dual 333
