Welche Distri für alte Laptops

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einer Distribution, die auch mit meinem altertümlichen Laptop (P120, 48 MB RAM) gut läuft.

Sollte X haben und wennmöglich Gnome oder KDE (und da eine alte Version, da Speedplus).

Desweiteren wäre es von Vorteil, dass ich nicht jedes Paket extra kompilen muss, soll heissen, dass genug fertige Pakete verfügbar sind.

Keine Live-CD, und keine Floppy-Distri.

Irgendwo eine Auflistung div. kleiner Distributionen ?

ich hab Probleme mit einer downgeloadeten Distri (bonzai). Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob die CD nicht beschädigt ist. md5sums der .iso Datei stimmen mit der zu Downloadende überein, wenn ich jedoch

dd if=/dev/cdrom | md5sum

verwende, erhalte ich eine komplett andere md5sum. Ist das normal ?

Morphix Light Gui sieht interessant aus, ist das nicht jedoch eine Live-CD ?

Ich bräucht nämlich eine Install-CD, da das Laptop kein Autostart des CD-Roms beherrscht :S

auf meinem laptop (p133, 40 mb ram) habe ich debian linux mit X und fluxbox laufen. funktioniert eigentlich recht gut

bei mir rennt debian 2.2 recht gut mit twm, ist ein 486er mit 8mb ram.

die md5 wird wohl für das iso file sein, nicht für die fertige cd.

schaut recht vielversprechend aus...habs zwR GsAugt aber noch nicht ausprobiert

auf meinen laptop (233mhz p1) hab ich gentoo laufen. du brauchst zwar 3 tage das system zu kompilieren (ohne xfree usw..) und dann ca. 2-3 tage für kde (wenn man sie haben will) kleine wms wie fluxbox oder enlightenment sind in ca. einer stunde fertig.
das sys lauft wirklich gut und um einiges besser als systeme mit rpms.
