Die US-Erfolgsserie 24 geht weiter - doch diesmal ohne Kiefer Sutherland als Jack Bauer. So wird nun Straight-Outta-Compton-Schauspieler Corey Hawkins sein Nachfolger in der Action-Serie.

Sutherland hat mehrfach betont, dass er nicht mehr als Jack Bauer zurückkehren will. Aber die Franchise ist eben so stark, dass sies wohl auch ohne ihn probieren werden.

Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) has given series orders to new dramas 24: LEGACY and STAR. Both series are scheduled to premiere in the upcoming 2016-2017 season.

24: LEGACY is the next chapter in the groundbreaking and award-winning action series from Emmy Award-winning executive producer Howard Gordon (“Homeland,” “24: Live Another Day”), Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning executive producer Brian Grazer (“A Beautiful Mind,” “24”), writers and executive producers Manny Coto and Evan Katz (“24,” “24: Live Another Day”), director and executive producer Stephen Hopkins (“24”) and executive producer and original series star Kiefer Sutherland. 24: Legacy: Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer May Return After All

24: Legacy producer Howard Gordon has suggested that the Fox revival will be bringing back Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer character after all.

Back in 2014, 24 returned briefly for the limited series Live Another Day, which saw Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in London on the run from the CIA. The revival was both a ratings hit and critically acclaimed, garnering three Emmy nominations. So since Fox has been busy rebooting everything else lately (including Prison Break, The X-Files, and things like Lethal Weapon and The Exorcist), why not bring Bauer back?

The twist is that this time, the 24 revival, called 24: Legacy, will feature an all-new cast. Fox cast Straight Outta Compton’s Corey Hawkins as Eric Carter, who will replace Bauer as the lead. According to Fox, Carter comes from a rough background, but turned his life around in the Army Rangers. Though living a quiet life in Virginia, his past comes back to haunt him, pulling him back into the action. But fans of course want to know: what about Bauer?

Hat das niemand geschaut?

Habe jetzt mal die ersten beiden Folgen gesehen, ist natürlich nicht Jack, aber auch nicht so schlecht.

Ist auf meiner Liste, hab aber keine Zeit dafür, nur die Stammserien gehen sich momentan aus =). Werd aber fix noch reinschauen.
