Colossal (2016)

Story: Directed by Nacho Vigalondo. With Anne Hathaway, Jason Sudeikis, Austin Stowell, Tim Blake Nelson. Gloria is an out-of-work party girl forced to leave her life in New York City, and move back home. When reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, she gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this phenomenon.

Lief gestern als Abschlußfilm beim Slash.
mir hat die Idee ja sofort gefallen, mit dem verbundenen kaiju, mal ein etwas anderer zugang zu der thematik

teilweise sehr lustig, eben durch die komik die sich durch die handlung ergibt. teilweise aber leider auch ein bisschen zäh, es hätte nicht geschadet, wenn der Film 10-20min kürzer gewesen wäre.
gesamteindruck jedoch positiv

gut gespielt und geschrieben, war mir dann allerdings zu ernst von der thematik.
