Black Bird — Official Trailer | Apple TV+

Erst heute entdeckt und seither alle Folgen (3) geschaut.
Apple+ wird schön langsam zum neuen HBO.

War gestern schon etwas müde und zu faul um noch was zu schreiben.:

Ein charmanter, verurteilter Drogendealer wird auf Grund seiner Fähigkeiten ("People Skills") dazu eingesetzt, in einem Hochsicherheitsgefängnis einen vermeintlichen Massenmörder dazu zu bewegen, die Orte seiner Leichen preiszugeben.

Es kommt phasenweise True Detective Feeling auf, ist aber doch ganz anders.
Spielt Ende der 90er.

Hervorragender Cast mit Ray Liotta in seine letzten Rolle und Greg Kinnear als Detective. Apple typisch beginnt es etwas langsam und lässt sich Zeit zur Einführung der Charaktere.

Bis jetzt habe ich noch keine ATV+ Serie gesehen, die sich auch nur ansatzweise was traut. Zudem war alles, was ich bis jetzt gesehen habe eine durchgehende Apple Werbung, vor allem super, weil man dann gleich von Anfang an weis, wer der good guy (iPhone + Zubehör) und bad boy (Android) ist.

Ich finde, wir sollten im Lichtspieltheater das Jahr im Titel + imdb link verpflichtend machen.

Zu finden auch unter "in with the devil". Ray Liotta hat hier wohl seinen letzten Auftritt.
