Hi leute!
Hab jetzt demnächst auch vor mir ein neues Notebook zu kaufen.
Ich hab bis jetzt auch eigentl. das MacBook in näherer Auswahl gehabt bis ich das hier gefunden habe und ich wollt mal nachfragen was ihr so davon haltet:

Interessieren würde mich auch ob es eurer Meinung nach empfehlenswert wäre zu warten bis das Teil mit Core2Duo ausgestattet wird oder nicht.
Mir wäre es in dem Sinne nur wichtig, dass das in absehbarer Zeit passiert - also in 1-2 Wochen.

da läuft kein osx drauf?! ... sonst isses sehr nice für ein sub, wobei es nicht gerade leicht ist!

1,70kg find ich ned sooo viel - das MacBook kommt wenn ich richtig informiert bin auf die 2,3kg

Ich wollt die beiden auch nur deshalb in Vergleich setzen, weil die beiden bei mir in Frage kämen.

Jetzt mal wegen meiner Frage bezüglich CoreDuo, Core2Duo - was meinst du-wird sich da jetzt noch was tun in den nächsten 1-2Wochen?

kann ich dir leider nicht sagen - ich glaube allerdings, dass apple in den nächsten 2 wochen KEIN upgrade der macbooks rausbringen wird (wenn dann macbook pro zuerst). und wenn, hättest du 2 wochen zeit deine bestellung ohne angabe von gründen zurückzusenden!

ich würde meine entscheidung vom betriebssystem abhängig machen: brauchst/willst du osx - macbook, mit oder ohne c2d. wenn nicht - warten bis die teile vista fähig sein!

Den Preis hab ich mir auch schon angesehen nur kann ich den nicht glauben. Schau mal bei den deutschen Händlern nach da kostet es 200 euro mehr.

Ich wurde gestern mit der selben schwierigen Aufgabe wie retro beauftragt. Meine Freundin kauft neues Notebook.
Zahlt es sich aus auf core2duo zu warten? Preisrahmen wäre 1.300 euro. Display sollte zwischen 13-14" liegen.
Mir würde dieses Notebook ganz gut gefallen:

Meine Freundin ist mit dem Studium gerade fertig. Außerdem wird das Notebook über eine Firma gekauft. Glaub nicht dass das dann geht. Außerdem die 50 Euro sind jetzt nicht so schlimm. Aber danke für den Link.

Muss man das Notebook nach de schicken oder gibt es auch einen at support der es annimmt?

Inventory of both Apple's MacBook Pro and MacBook notebooks have run dry at the company's primary European distributor. Meanwhile, iSight and iPod shuffle shipments should commence near the end of the month. And consumers waiting on availability of AirPort Extreme base stations may have to wait a tad longer.

MacBook availability; HP readies Core 2 Duo notebooks

People with ties to Apple's European distribution channels report this week that Ingram Micro, a primary Apple hardware distributor, is reflecting absolutely no inventory MacBook Pro and MacBook notebook systems.

According to those same people, the distributor lists October 31st -- an estimated date not based on privileged information -- as the day it expects new shipments of the systems.

On a similar note, a source with ties to Hewlett-Packard said earlier this week that the PC maker has requested that its third-party resellers pack up their notebook demo units and ship them back to the company ahead of the company's own Core 2 Duo-based notebook launch.

While HP has announced Core 2 Duo-based notebooks, they have largely been available for "pre-order only" up until this time.

Apple, which has yet to make any Core 2 Duo notebook announcements, is expected to do so in the coming weeks. Both the company's MacBook Pro and MacBook lines should obtain Core 2 Duo processors before the holiday shopping season, people familiar with the matter have said.

iSights and iPod shuffle due soon

Meanwhile, Apple's latest product availability update to is retail partners indicated that both iSights and the new $79 clip-on iPod shuffle digital music player are due to begin shipping towards the end of October.

Specifically, the report said iSights may surface in "2 weeks" while the iPod shuffle remains penciled in for "late October."

AirPort Extreme pushed back

On the other hand, shipments of Apple's revised AirPort Extreme base stations have been pushed back from "October" to "December." No further information on this product was a available.
