Dynamic HDR support ensures every moment of a video is displayed at its ideal values for depth, detail, brightness, contrast and wider color gamuts—on a scene-by-scene or even a frame-byframe basis. The Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable supports the 48G bandwidth for uncompressed HDMI 2.1 feature support. The cable also features very low EMI emission and is backwards compatible with earlier versions of the HDMI Specification and can be used with existing HDMI devices. eARC simplifies connectivity, provides greater ease of use, and supports the most advanced audio formats and highest audio quality. It ensures full compatibility between audio devices and upcoming HDMI 2.1 products. Enhanced refresh rate features ensure an added level of smooth and seamless motion and transitions for gaming, movies and video. They include: Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) reduces or eliminates lag, stutter and frame tearing for more fluid and better detailed gameplay. Quick Media Switching (QMS) for movies and video eliminates the delay that can result in blank screens before content is displayed. Quick Frame Transport (QFT) reduces latency for smoother no-lag gaming, and real-time interactive virtual reality. Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) allows the ideal latency setting to automatically be set allowing for smooth, lag-free and uninterrupted viewing and interactivity. The HDMI 2.1 Compliance Test Specification (CTS) will be published in stages during Q1-Q3 2018, and HDMI adopters will be notified when it is available.
Hört sich alles ganz Ok an. Neuer HDCP Standard wird sicher auch wieder mitgeliefert?
Interessant ist imho Variable Refresh Rate. Dann kann sich Nvidia mit ihrer eigenen Lösung die nichts als teuer ist endlich brausen gehen.
HDCP 2.2 ist nach wie vor aktuell und hab von keinem Nachfolger gehört
na endlich, 2.1 ist für mich der grund mit der anschaffung eines oled tvs, neuen avr zu warten 
mal schauen ob es sich für die hersteller ausgeht dass auf der ces was präsentieren oder , und das halte ich für wahrscheinlicher, alles per update nachspielen.
Fehlt nur noch, dass nVidia VRR und QFT künftig auch unterstützen wird! Do you hear me Jensen Huang?
Ich würde wie immer die erste Generation meiden. Da sind meist die ganzen optionalen Teile nicht implementiert.
Ich fahr aktuell mit meiner Multimediaausstattung sehr gut und werde wohl erst mit 8k OLED hier was austauschen.
Was nVidia betrifft und eine offene implementierung von VRR (ist das nicht optional?) die werden einen Teufel tun und vorallem werden die sich auf die DisplyPort Spezifikation berufen (die auch bald von der VESA kommen soll)
Endlich ... mein Problem ist im Moment halt das viele Geräte noch recht frisch sind und die erste Generation vermutlich eh nicht gekauft wird.
4k@zumindest 60 Hz wären halt schon jetzt schön gewesen, leider können die Geräte das alle einfach noch nicht (vorhergehende HDMI Versionen) bzw. wurde einfach bei der Vermarktung geschummelt:
"natürlich kann es 4k @ 60 Hz", wenn man nur mehr die halbe Anzahl an Farbkanäle hat usw ...
PC @ 4k Fernseher ist daher leider ein Krüppel was sich hoffentlich mit dieser HDMI Version ändert.
