Am 14. April hat ASUS einen neuen CPU-Kühler aus der Triton-Reihe vorgestellt. Der Triton 85 setzt sich aus einer Kupfer-Base, Aluminiumfinnen und vier Kupfer-Heatpipes zusammen. Der 120-mm-Lüfter ist mit einer PWM-Funktion ausgestattet und lässt sich so im Lautstärkebereich zwischen 16 und 25 dB(A) regeln. ASUS selbst verspricht im Vergleich zu einem Standardkühler eine um 35 Prozent verbesserte Kühlleistung, die selbst bei einer Abwärme von 180 Watt noch ausreichend sein soll.
