Idle performance is absolutely fine with the fans set at either low or full speed, but CPU load temperatures were admittedly very poor – the PC-888 is one of the hottest PC chassis we’ve tested with its fans set to low, with the CPU running a full 9°C hotter under load than in the CPU champ, the Silverstone FT01. The blue anodised aluminium really is a wonderful thing and the whole case is very well put together and solid, a real return to what we expect from a Lian Li chassis after some recent disappointing offerings. There are also plenty of small touches to make you feel a little better about your massive purchase, with the colour co-ordinated hard drive handles, inbuilt card reader and excellent fan controller all working in the PC-888’s favour.

500$ ist aber ein ziemlicher Brocken für so ein hässliches case

echt hässlich!

wobei man sich mit ein paar verschiedenfarbigen eine nette Skyline basteln könnte... hat imo ein bisserl was von diversen Dubai-Towern von vorne betrachtet.
Wozu der "Stumpf" oben gut ist wird man auch nicht erfahren oder?

das Anschluss-Panel oben seitlich finde ich ebenfalls etwas deplatziert...

Hässlich und dazu noch sau teuer.

was ist los bei lian li? haben die im laufe der wirtschaftskrise die falschen leute gekündigt?

Ohne die Bodenplatte und dem Kastl + Stumpf am Case und in einer ordentlichen Farbe würd ichs ned übel finden.

lian-li hats echt nicht nötig (und scheinbar auch nicht drauf), ub0r-"stylische" cases zu bauen. die schlichte, sauber verarbeitete und durchdachte linie war doch vollkommen in ordnung.

es sieht nicht schrecklich schlecht aus, sicher hats was aus dubai, aber um den preis isses komplett uninteressant.

echt Fail... Sollen mehr cases wie zB das A77 bauen...

das case sieht wirklich recht "weird" aus und ist auch recht teuer imho.

aber ist ja bei anderen herstellern auch net anders. was momentan teilweise produziert wird ist mehr als abartig.

"weird" ist ja sehr schmeichelhaft. Im Prinzip ja egal, man muss es nicht kaufen und ausserdem gibts eh nur 500 Stück davon

da bin ich froh ein lian li pc-s80 zu haben, das ist noch super.

je länger ich das pc-888 anschaue, desto grauslicher erscheints mir. vielleicht soll das design "modern" oder weiß was ich wirken.

zumindest die verarbeitungsqualität ist laut review immer noch (oder wieder?) top. design ist geschmackssache aber nicht meiner und eigentlich bin ich von lian li doch "anderes" gewohnt. burj-el-arab lässt grüssen...
