Und noch was altes.
One day you left me a flower On the mat in front of my door. I picked it up and wondered: Did this ever happen before?
It was a beautiful rose. I put it into a golden vase. And with a magic glance It was shining red for days.
One evening – a knock at the door. Shortly before it‘s beauty was gone. Again a rose, who put it there? I looked around - there was noone.
This next rose was even more beautiful. It gave me a feeling of shiver. And I asked myself one more time: Who is this mysterious giver?
And so it went week after week, Rose after rose, day after day. I wish I could thank you for them all, I’d love to meet you someday.
Take this poem as an invitation To stay once you knocked on my door. Because it would break my heart in two To find another red rose on the floor.
