afaik is das ein fake
was ich gehoert hab is der prim ns gehackt worden und zeigt halt auf eine fake seite
kann natuerlich auch nur ein gschihtl sein

Yes its true. The DOJ has taken control of the isonews.com DNS which now points to 149.101.1.91

If you link directly to http://66.201.243.170 you can still reach the site. This is a good interim solution as the official DNS may be gone for good.

If you can still reach isonews.com from the old dns its only because your ISP has not updated its cache. Take note of the ip now if you still want to be able to reach isonews

Hop into efnet #isonews for updates as they arrive. We'll try to keep things running here until the situation becomes clearer.

Ok, news so far says that the domain WONT be back but this is about as bad as it's going to get , we still have the servers and are still able to operate the site as per norm , although right now what will happen to the site is being decided (I have almost nothing to do with that , im just a mod here and dont decide this stuff) , while its EXTREMLY unlikely the site will die there might be a few changes (I guess a new domain name for starters ) but dont worry , we will do our best to stay the site you have all known.

For the moment thats all the news I can give you but as ever someone will update this thread.

Also for the time the #isonews channel is remaining closed so please dont ask why you cant get in.
