STEP 1.
Press the blue filter down firmly against the white test cartridge. Add 3 drops of buffer solution to the centre of the blue filter

steps. A single drop of whole blood,
obtained by finger-stick, is used in the test.
The 1 MINUTE HIV SELF TEST comes
in a convenient single-use package, containing
a complete test kit, a lancet for finger sticks, an alcohol swab, a bandage and complete simple instructions.Instructions for lancet use
1. Clean finger with the alcohol pad and wait until your finger is dry again.
2. Twist and pull the white protective tab from the lancet.
3. Place lancet at the side of the fingertip of your finger.
4. Press white button firmly to activate the safety lancet. You experience a small finger prick. Make sure that you press the lancet firmly to your finger while pressing the white button
NOTE: The lancet can only be used once to avoid possible danger of infection.
5. If necessary, massage the finger gently in order to obtain the required drop of blood.

STEP 2.
Add 1 drop of whole blood to the centre of the blue filter. Disgard pipette



STEP 3.
Add 4 drops of buffer solution to the centre of the blue filter. After solution has absorbed, wait one minute before removing the blue filter

STEP 4.
Remove the blue filter and discard. Place the green test filter on the white test cartridge. Press down firmly. Add 10 to 12 drops of buffer solution in the middle of the green test filter.Remove the green test filter after solution has been absorbed. Read result




POSITIVE
A positive result shows one horizontal red line (T) and one vertical red control line under the C.
NEGATIVE
A negative result shows one vertical red control line under the C. A horizontal red line does not appear.

positive result should be immediately followed by personal counseling. A positive result from a doctor's office or a laboratory in the U.S. however could become a public record (by being reported to the U. S. Center for Disease Control) and could affect your ability to buy life and health insurance or even find a job in the future.

There is a product advertised on the internet as an "FDA approved" HIV self test. However, it is NOT a self test at all. It requires you to take your own blood sample at home and then send it back to their lab for analysis. You must wait several days or a week or more to know the result, and if positive, could become a public record.

pfff, ich mein ich kann zwar ned so gut englisch aber den großteil habi verstanden.. und ehrlich gesagt wenn ich einen aids test mach geh ich gleich in ein labor...

naja aber ich muss dort hin gehen um blut abnehmen zu lassen .... mah

der erste aids test denst beim arzt stimmt ah net 100%ig
wenns funktioniert is imho net schlecht
und wenns was positives anzeigt geht ma sowieso zum arzt
i versteh net wo des problem is?

ja 10 jahre von infektion bis zum ausbruch der krankheit
aber eine infektion kannst feststellen ..

a infektion kannst erst ein halbes jahr später feststellen
