Extreme overclocking: X1800XT vs 7800GTX 512MB

Normale Benchmarks zwischen den zwei High-End Karten von nVidia und ATI gibt es zwar schon wie Sand am Meer, aber Nordic Hardware verglichen diese beiden Karten einmal auf die etwas extremere Art.

Die Rede ist von ATI Radeon X1800XT gegen nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB, denen die letzten 3DMark-Punkte mit Volt-Mod und LN2 rausgequetscht wurden. Die ATI-Karte erreichte 11723 und die nVida-Karte 12514 3DMark05 Punkte.

Bei diesen Tests gab zwar die ca. 700€ teure nVidia-Karte den Geist auf, aber was tut man nicht alles im Sinne der Forschung
