The 173T from Samsung is an excellent display boasting great features such as MagicBright and the ability to pivot the display for easier web page/document viewing. It’s ultra-thin bezel and sleek black look make it not only great looking in image quality, but in aesthetics too. With a max resolution of 1280x1024 and a pixel refresh of 25ms, hard core gamers can take advantage of their ubermachines and game at a higher resolutions with almost no ghosting visible. Couple that with an extremely high contrast ratio of 700:1 and you have one extremely nice picture. The internal power-supply takes away the extra desk clutter caused by an external power brick making the 173T take up even less desk space. The image quality was excellent in both the native resolution and others, with only minimal blur visible at lower resolutions.

Samsung kann echt was. :) Hier ein Quote aus einem 191N-Test:

But it was the brightness measurements that astonished me. Measuring the display contrast at 100nit screen brightness (120.9nit, to be precise, because the calibration was performed with a slight error), I obtained a fantastic number – 1500:1. Increasing the brightness, I somewhat lowered this value, but the minimum was anyway higher than the specified 500:1.
