So, after all this testing, what do we think of Intel's 845-G chipset? Well, first off, we think the "Extreme Graphics" tagline is certainly misplaced for a chipset like the Intel 845-G. While the integrated graphics core of the 845-G is a step above what Intel has done in the past for integrated video, it's certainly nothing extraordinary. It’s certainly good to see Intel updating their graphics cores to stay in line with current technology, but unfortunately the performance of this chipset simply can’t fit the bill for today’s gamers.
