hi all

die neue maxtor platte (7200 u/m) 40GB wird vom P2B nicht erkannt; Bios wurde auch schon upgedated;
Version 1012 Final (vom 03/03/00)

wer kann mir helfen, bzw. hat jemand das ASUS P2B mit einer 40 GB laufen???

danke im vorraus

Also vom P2B gibts eine Menge verschiedener Varianten. Normalerweise sollte es gehn, hab 3 solcher Boards im Einsatz gehabt in Kombination mit 40GB Platten, allerdings auch nur mit Bios-Upgrade.

Bist dir sicher das das das aktuellste Upgrade ist?

Schau mal da

Vielleicht findest noch ein neueres Bios dort mit dems geht.

Muß irgendwann mal mit größeren Platten testen... Hmm vielleicht mal 80GB Platte kaufn gehn :D

Hmm, wär auch a Idee, garnicht dran gedacht...
Hast die Platte schon an nem neueren Rechner ausprobiert?
