hi berschn

any tips was man alles bei diesem antiken brettl noch einstellen kann damit es flotter wird ?

hier: was ich gemacht hab

im softmenu hab ich meinen duron 800 auf 9,5 multi gestellt
den fsb takt hab ich auf 100 gelassen und mit "additional" um 6 auf 106 raufgedreht ... vcore ist auf 1,85

ram einstellungen und weiteres hab ich nicht verändert

meine hardware:

abit-kt7 raid
duron 800
512 MB infineon SDRAM CL3 (gehn die auf cl2 ? wo stell ich das um ?)

Die Infineon dürften auf bis 140MHz cl2 gehen sofern's 133er sind, das stellst du unter DRAM Timing (alle 3 werte auf "Turbo") ein. Bei meinem KT7A gibts ausserdem noch Enhance Chip Performance, DRAM Bank Interleave usw. (alles im Soft Menu), kannst du ruhigen Gewissens aufdrehen.

Der Ramtakt läuft evtl. auch asynchron zum cpufsb (ka ob das beim kt133 möglich ist ;))

das ist die frage ... geht das ?: ram takt asynchron laufen lassen ?

kann ich da was kaputt machen wenn ich da herumspiel ?

nix, nach einem CMOS-Reset läuft alles wie gewohnt


ausser es raucht & stinkt, dann hast ein prob o_O ;)
