Ich würde gern testweise auf einem Maxdata PRO 6000 I Notebook Ubuntu 5.10 von der Live-CD laufen lassen, bleib aber beim Konfigurieren/Mounten des CD-ROM-LWs hängen - er findets nämlich nicht. Das LW selbst ist ein Philips SDVD8441 DL DVD+-RW. Probiert hab ich bisher

leider ohne Erfolg. Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich noch versuchen könnte?

blöderweise weiß ich nichtmal, ob das LW ein normales EIDE oder ein SATA ist.
