Servus....^^ hätte folgendes Problem: nachdem meine IDE Platte eingegangen ist hab ich erfolgreich das komplette System auf die neue HDD "gecloned" und kann damit auch starten usw... Jedoch hab ich zur Zeit ein Problem mit einer externen 2,5" HDD, welche per USB 2.0 eingebunden wird. Die HDD wird zwar erkannt aber nachdem folgende Meldung kommt: usb-storage: device scan complete wird die HDD nicht zum Beispiel als sda angegeben. Somit ist auch kein Zugriff möglich. Wenn ich jedoch das System mit Ubuntu oder ähnliches boote, wird problemlos die externe Festplatte erkannt. Hättet ihr Lösungsvorschläge? Danke! ls command funktioniert irg. zur Zeit nicht... (anscheinend bin ich in einem anderen Modus, muss ich wohl zu Hause nochmals gucken...sry)

Hallo, also ls Command funktioniert noch immer nicht und auch x-window hat eine Macke. Sprich der HDD Crash dürfte sich ordentlich auf die Debian Installation ausgewirkt haben. cat Command erkennt er auch nicht mehr... ls -alh / | grep dev
nbdeb:/# ls bash: ls: command not found Wenn ich per SFTP auf die "Kiste" schaue, dann ist unter /usr/local/bin oder sbin nichts vorhanden... gar nichts mehr -> dort sollten sich doch die ls Befehle usw. befinden... nbdeb:/# which ls
-> nix :(

Unter /usr/bin befindet sich schon einiges - jedoch kein ls grep plugdev < /etc/group

EDIT: hätte jetzt Single User Mode probiert: folgendes kommt beim booten -> zb. das er die Befehle - chmod / chgrp / ln nicht findet und dann "Give root password for maintenance" (or type Control-D to continue): somit..vorerst vielen vielen Dank!..werd mich mal ans "reparieren dranmachen "
