Servus....^^

hätte folgendes Problem:

nachdem meine IDE Platte eingegangen ist hab ich erfolgreich das komplette System auf die neue HDD "gecloned" und kann damit auch starten usw...

Jedoch hab ich zur Zeit ein Problem mit einer externen 2,5" HDD, welche per USB 2.0 eingebunden wird. Die HDD wird zwar erkannt aber nachdem folgende Meldung kommt:

usb-storage: device scan complete

wird die HDD nicht zum Beispiel als sda angegeben.

Somit ist auch kein Zugriff möglich.

Wenn ich jedoch das System mit Ubuntu oder ähnliches boote, wird problemlos die externe Festplatte erkannt.

Hättet ihr Lösungsvorschläge?

Vor 2 Tagen oder so hat das jedoch alles problemlos funktioniert!

Ok das dmesg sieht ganz gut aus, und ehci scheint auch zu laufen, wenn du nicht selber was mit udev/hal herumgespielt hast denk ich mir das das in ordnung sein wird.

Das du ls /dev/[hs]d[a-z] nicht ausführen kannst macht mir eher sorgen. Das sollte als unprivilegiertester aller user auch noch hinhauen. Ich würd im moment eher auf ein Berechtigungproblem tippen. Was sagt:

Hallo, also ls Command funktioniert noch immer nicht und auch x-window hat eine Macke. Sprich der HDD Crash dürfte sich ordentlich auf die Debian Installation ausgewirkt haben.
cat Command erkennt er auch nicht mehr...

Wenn du reiserfs verwendest uu einen tree rebuild. Bei ext würd ich noch einen fs check ausprobieren bevors ans neu aufsetzen geht.

Danke, dies hab ich jedoch schon alles ausprobiert... aber gestern Abend USB Stick rein und reinstall.
Die Configs usw. hatte ich alles gesichert.. somit läuft bis auf WLAN eigentlich wieder alles.. (wobei wlan bei der vorigen Install auch Mucken gemacht hat) - aber einmal gings schon.. naja... testen..probieren^^

Danke auf jeden Fall - werd heute eine komplette Sicherung ziehen mittels g4l.
