Debian Etch 4.0r6 AMD64 läuft zu schnell

Habe die AMD64 DVD1 für meinen Phenom genommen. Nur läuft alles irgendwie zu schnell. Ich kann kaum was in die Konsole tippen, da der Tastaturanschlag auf ca. 0,05 sek. ist. Animierte gifs werden mit rasanter Geschwindigkeit wiedergegeben und auch die Uhrzeit läuft ca. doppelt so schnell. Hat jemand eine Ahnung woran das liegen kann? Google spuckt nichts vernünftiges aus. mfg Visitor
