Hallo!

Kurze Rede, kurzer Sinn: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, mit einem Tool im Linux auszulesen, wieviele verbleibende Spare Sektoren eine Harddisk noch für Reallocations hat?

Mit smartctl kann ich zwar die Pending Sectors und die Reallocated Sectors auslesen, aber gibt es auch eine Möglichkeit festzustellen, wie groß die verbleibende Spare Area einer Disk noch ist, damit man quasi sagen kann "so und so viele Sektoren dürfen noch ausfallen, bevors unrecoverable wird"?

Ich glaube, dass das ein gut gehütetes Geheimnis der Plattenhersteller ist. Ist mir jedenfalls noch nie untergekommen.
