We're talking about a screen with a completely separate glossy layer applied over it. When viewing the display your eyes naturally shift focus between what is being displayed on the screen and what is being reflected in the glossy surface of the second layer over the screen. Since these images are on a slightly different focal plane you can easily develop eye strain and headaches from looking at this screen.[...]

The keyboard on the 2133 Mini-Note is great. To put it plainly, this is the best keyboard we've seen on a notebook this small. It is 92% of a full sized keyboard, which is quite impressive for such a small form factor. It is much more comfortable to type on compared to the Asus Eee PC. HP managed to create the single most impressive ultraportable notebook on the market ... and then decided to put a lackluster processor inside.

If HP decides to replace the VIA processors with the new Intel Atom processors or alternative processors from Intel, the Mini-Note would become the undisputed champion of the subnotebook market.

Der Bildschirm ist eh top, die Schutzschicht ist das Problem. Dieses sollte sich doch mit einer Entspiegelungsfolie beheben lassen.

Imho ist die 499USD-Variante fast die interessanteste. Von den 1.6GHz profitiert man anscheinend eh nur durch mehr Wärmeproduktion und ein kleines SSD steht dem 2133 sicher gut zu Gesicht. Einzig auf Bluetooth muss man dann verzichten.

Die Maße gefallen mir sehr gut: 25*16*2,5cm ownen so ziemlich jedes Subnotebook.

Spiegelbildschirm und weniger CPU Leistung als ein EEE? nix für mich!

ich hoffe dass intels atom den dingern endlich zu mehr laufzeit verhilft, 2h sind einfach uninteressant.

Als Threadtitel wäre wohl passender: Ernstzunehmender EEE Pc Konkurrent oder so aber HP2133 wissen die meisten ja ws. nicht was das ist.

Aber ontopic das Ding ist für mich der EEE PC Killer, ich glaub das wird mein neues Baby.

Also den VIA Prozessor können sie sich in die Haare schmieren. Da ist mir der EEE trotz seines popeligen Bildschirms ungleich lieber.

Kann der HP schei++en gehen, mit doofem VIA Chip
H264 Musikvideos kacken dort sicher ab, beim EEE nicht.
